Real Estate Website Showdown – The Best Features of The Top 3 Sites

With all things being equal, the top 3 real estate websites on the internet are Realtor.com, Zillow.com & RealtyTrac.com.

But which one should you use?

All of them?

The short answer to that question is really based upon what type of real estate you are looking for.

If you are looking to buy a home, then realtor.com probably has the most up to date home listing information as it has Multiple Listing Service property feeds pouring directly into it.

NerdWallet recently posted an article showing off the best features of the Realtor.com website.

This is very interesting read if you are looking for a place to rent.

The Realtor.com site, famous for its MLS listings, also provides rich detail on rental properties. The property-for-lease tool includes a lot of the same search filters found on the home-sale listings, including minimum and maximum (rental) price and the number of bedrooms and baths. You can also view all rentals in an area, or narrow it down to apartments, houses or condos.

A pet policy is another handy search feature, though not all rental listings provide their policy. Other popular searches include “cat-friendly” and “single story,” so the tool offers quite a few parameters. Read the rest…

Now, if you are chasing a good deal on a foreclosed home, then RealtyTrac will probably have the best foreclosure info. This site has a ton of good info to get you started finding a foreclosed, or almost foreclosed property.

Where To Start With Pre-Foreclosures

It’s important to get up-to-date pre-foreclosure information and act on it as quickly as possible. RealtyTrac subscribers can access our daily updated national database of pre-foreclosure properties online. Subscribers can also set up daily alert e-mails to be notified of new property posted on RealtyTrac.

The benefits of developing a system

Develop a system to keep track of properties that interest you. A good tracking system is important since most pre-foreclosure buyers pursue many properties sometimes over a period of several months. Read more here…

And finally, not only does Zillow provide some good information when it comes to home searching, but what about doing some research on the best home designs and what is popular today?

Then you would want to check out Zillow’s awesome home design feature pages.

The site shows what is trending, hot and design ideas from all over the county.

Here is some eye candy for you: http://ift.tt/UFL3no

These three realty websites all have a lot to offer.

Make use of all 3 of them as you begin your home purchase or rental search.

And of course, leave a little time to look at some cool design ideas!  😆

When you finally find a home or two you would like to look at, always make sure you find a really good real estate agent.

We recommend that you interview at least 3 different agents before choosing one.

We would love to be one of your choices for interviewee.

Also why settle for just one agent when you can hire an entire team?

And remember that the seller of the home always pays the real estate agent commissions so we work for you for at no cost.

Check out what having an entire team behind you can do for you and your family when it comes time to buy that dream home!
